Filter Kappi
Filter Kaapi, also known as South Indian Filter Coffee, is a traditional and beloved coffee preparation originating from Southern India. It is made by brewing freshly ground coffee beans with hot water in a special stainless steel coffee filter called a "dabarah" and "tumbler". The coffee decoction is then mixed with hot frothy milk and served in a tumbler, creating a rich and aromatic beverage with a strong flavor and creamy texture.
